Cons HR is a joke! If you want to have someone watch you the entire time you work. Work here. You are not really respected. They think every employee wants to steal. You can imagine from there.
I made Pros Watching my coworkers speculate about if they may get a 20cent raise every year was funny. Cons If you made it this far without reconsidering.
You must be really desperate. The Job is a very dead end job for anyone with a degree in the tech field. Management is extremely unprofessional and you can tell no one in the organization is passionate about their role. Yes There are 1 helpful reviews 1 No. Decent company, poor leadership. Working for SG at best you are a name, and a number. Nothing more.
Even getting that can feel like an earned achievement. You wont feel valued. Tons of passing the buck, poor "thats not my job" type attitudes, and very divided due to multiple mergers.
There is a lot of great people at the company, but as time goes on, they leave, or get eaten up by the culture. Your loyalty will not be rewarded. Pros Not much comes to mind. Cons Bad managers, poor planning, too much swept under the rug for someone to fix later. Leave a review. Help people like you. You die a little eveyday if you work here. You can find a better job somewhere else. You are treated like just another face. Fun place to work, the coworkers are very friendly.
The management is bad silo and therefore communication between different teams and even inside the same team is not good at all. Salary is too low and turnover rate is huge. The staff was friendly and fun as a gaming engineer the work ours were challenging but I knew that before taking the job.
As a Senior Support the work hours were stable 8am-5pm Monday-Friday. Staff was great management was great too. Pros Able to advance and grow. Cons Became too much travel and affected health and personal life. Amazing job! Even short staffed our supervisors and managers always made it a great place to work. Working remotely, temporarily, is also a bonus.
Great people to work with and for. Job is and was stressful at times. Multitasking is a must at this job as you are responsible for monitoring the network framework, telephone troubleshooting and dealing with live customers at the same time. Pros Staff, pay, benefits. Cons Long hours, stress level.
Jobs at Scientific Games. Production Computer Tech. Package Assembly Tech- Temp. Dayshift Production Assembly. Developers stay here form years without any promotions or growth only to be laid off due to bureaucracy.
Then your skills are so ancient that you won't be able to find a job elsewhere. Yes There are 3 helpful reviews 3 No There are 1 unhelpful reviews 1.
The only thing bad is the pay rate. The people at SG are a close group. Kinda like an extend family. I loved the job and the people I worked with. Management was about getting you the help you needed.
There was plenty of OT when I was there. Pros The people. Cons The pay. This was to good to be true and it was I thought I was getting into a good position and I thought this would be a great career but it turns out the opposite they promised a 7 to 3 schedule and every other weekend but turned back on that and tried working me 6 sometimes 7 days aweek for minimal pay I don't understand why companies do this stuff to good employees.
Pros They provided you with company phone and vehicle. Cons Work you to death go back on what they say try and screw your vacation time. Yes There are 4 helpful reviews 4 No. Management doesn't care about your well being , very hard for the average American to understand the people that work there, not to many friendly people that are willing to help.
Yes There are 2 helpful reviews 2 No. Can't speak for current management as I left a few years ago so Disclaimer. When I left the Dover DE location management was horrible and cutthroat and only filled with "Marketers" who knew nothing about technology so would make decisions off of purely monetary decisions while managing a tech company.
Pros The k is good and can help you save for your future. Cons Situations you may be injured in with no help. I learned quite a bit at this company. The hours sucked though.
Never knew exactly when we would be able to leave for the day. I could never have plans for the weekend because we never knew if we would have to work until Friday.
Pros Great people to work with. Cons Never knew when we would be able to leave for the day. I loved the company. The people and management were easy to get along with. They were attentive to your needs and valued constructive input.
They gave you the tools to excel at your tasks and would work with you to aquire anything you needed to succeed at your job. It was an incredible pleasure to work with this company and their staff. Pros Freedom and trust. Cons The phone program Iris. Worst company ever, management is totally disconnected with employees and customer base. Managers have never done the job of techs, but like to tell them how their jobs should be done.
